Very early in your decision
to have surgery at the
INSTITUTE FOR
ORTHOPAEDIC
SURGERY (IOS), our
professional staff will
be working with you to
design a plan for your
recovery in your home, or
via extended care services. The IOS staff will help you evaluate your resources and make arrangements for making your home life easier and safer following surgery; including prescriptions/medications, special equipment, physical therapy visits, dressings, special activity instructions, your doctor's appointments, and short term rehabilitation, as well as other care services.
