Institute for Orthopaedic Surgery Earns Award

(Lima, Ohio) For the second year in a row, the Institute for Orthopaedic Surgery (IOS) received the 2011 Press Ganey Summit Award. The Summit Award recognizes top-performing health care facilities sustaining the highest level of customer satisfaction for three or more consecutive years. IOS is one of 98 organizations to receive this distinction in 2011, and one of 87 to receive it for achieving and sustaining excellence in patient satisfaction. Press Ganey partners with more than 10,000 health care facilities, including 50% of the U.S. hospitals, to measure and improve the quality of patient care.
